Association of Friends of the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus
Friends of the Congregation
These are some individuals who are the associates of the congregation. They are members of the lay faithful who have accepted the spirituality of the Sisters, and very often come together to take part in some activities with the Sisters, such as adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, at least, once in a week. They are encouraged to participate actively in the daily celebration of the Eucharist and live it in their families and in the world, were ever they may find themselves.
They are in the various parts of the world were the congregation has sisters working for dioceses. They are very much appreciated because they are helpful in our bid to makeJesus Christ known to the world as present in the Holy Eucharist.

News
From November 20th to 23rd, 2008, the Association of Friends of the EHJ from all over the country came together as they usually do annual for an annual events, which comprised of spiritual, social and healthy activities. During this gathering election of new officers and the Investiture of Grand Patrons / Commissioning of New National Executives took place. There was pilgrimage made to the EHJ novitiate in Ibomwon, Lagos State. Friends had morning and evening prayers together and celebrated the Holy Eucharist in an atmosphere of brotherly love. Health/Counselling, Penitential Service and Benediction or period of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament were held.
A Social Evening culminated all the occasion, where our friends in their usual generosity supported our educational trust fund. On morning of the feast of Christ the King the Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated followed by members departing to their various stations.
We wish the new National Executives the strength to serve their tenure well. Amen.
